Bloodhound Gang Discography
Hefty Fine
(EU Version)
The oft delayed Hefty Fine album was finally released in September of 2005, following up on the success of Hooray for Boobies over 5 years later. The Bloodhound Gang has never been known to release albums quickly, frequently taking at least 3 years between releases. Hefty Fine (renamed from "Heavy Flow") is a departure from the style of previous albums, but the sharp wit and creative lyrical stylings are still all their own.
The album could easily be considered much more "synth-poppy" than Hooray for Boobies, and a complete change in direction from 1996's One Fierce Beer Coaster. Hefty Fine seems more like an experimental album, than a full-fledged release, hence the album clocking-in under the 40 minute mark. The lyrics are clever and definitely worth a listen, but old BHG fans will find this album as a departure from their previous style.
