Bloodhound Gang in-the-news

Bloodthirsty behaviour?

December 6, 2000worldpop

The Bloodhound Gang have cancelled a show in Idaho, USA, scheduled for 11 December after police expressed concern about the group's onstage antics.

The band cancelled the show at the Doubletree Riverside Ballroom in Boise, Idaho rather than bow to police pressure to amend their act. Police were concerned about a series of incidents on the Gang's current tour. These included an incident on 12 November in Iowa when the group paid a fan to eat 20 Big Macs, drink beer and then throw up onstage and an incident on 15 November in Wisconsin when the group encouraged a member of the audience to strip naked on the balcony.

The band wrap up their current US tour on 14 December in Vancouver.
