(Los Angeles, CA) - - March 26, 2001 - - Isabelle's Gift, the hard-rock quintet from South Carolina will release their new album, Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms on April 24 via Jimmy Franks Recording Company/23-Studios. The label, formed by Bloodhound Gang frontman Jimmy Pop and his band's manager Ifan Thomas of 23-Studios, is distributed by RedEye, and is Jimmy Pop's newest division of Jimmy Franks Industries.

Isabelle's Gift ("IG") and the Bloodhound Gang initially met in 1996, and toured together during the Bloodhound Gang's Hooray for Boobies tour. After a successful string of dates, Jimmy Pop was determined to expose the band, and surmises, "By working with a band like Isabelle's Gift, I am doing my part to fight against the evil in this world. Like Creed." Of the band signing, Ifan Thomas says "'The Gift'" picked me up by the scruff of the neck and tossed me against the wall like a Chihuahua accidentally drawn against a pitbull. They represent all that I love about good ole' southern rock. And besides, Jim made me do it...."

Since 1991, IG has been reigning the Southeast with a blend of music from their own roots which translates into a Sabbath/Skynyrd hybrid. The first single from Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, "Tequila Smile," is representative of their raucous style which Columbia's Free Times describes as, "tobacco-spitting, flag-waving, middle fingers in the air anthems." IG's lineup includes founder Christopher on vocals, Travis and James on guitars, Jason on bass and Mike behind the drums. Look for the band kicking up dust across the South and all them other states this summer.
