* Iggy Pop, The Reverend Horton Heat, Sponge, Tonic, Bloodhound Gang, Linda Perry, Ryan Downe and Treadmill Trackstar bring the ROAR (Revelation of Alternative Rhythms) Festival to Cincinnati's Riverbend Music Center at 2 p.m. June 3. The festival features two stages and nine hours of music, plus a `Virtual Reality Lifestyle Village.' Tickets go on sale at 5 p.m. today at Ticketmaster outlets.

* The Dave Matthews Band , huge alternarockers whose latest omnipresent single is Crash , and Los Lobos, Southern California quintet known for innovative blues-based Tex-Mex rock, make an odd pairing at Cincinnati's Riverbend Music Center at 7 p.m. June 22. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets.

* 4 Him and Point of Grace , both Dove Award-winning contemporary Christian hitmakers, co-headline a show at 7:30 p.m. May 10 at Veteran's Memorial Auditorium, 300 W. Broad St., Columbus. Tickets are $20 for artist-circle seats; $16; $13 for groups of 15 or more, and are available at Christian Armory bookstores and Ticketmaster outlets. For more information, call (614) 863-5003.

* Jimmy Buffett 's July 3 show at Riverbend Music Center is sold out.

* Yes has canceled its July 1 show at Riverbend Music Center, as well as all other shows on its tour.

* The Pretenders and Sinead O'Connor show scheduled for Aug. 23 at Riverbend has been canceled. Both acts have nixed all touring plans.

* Counting Crows fans holding tickets for the canceled March 9 show at Cincinnati's Music Hall may exchange them for tickets to the July 8 Crows show at Riverbend Music Center. The Wallflowers will open that show. The old tickets may be exchanged until May 5. Tickets will go on sale to the public in a few weeks. Stay tuned....

* Cassandra Wilson , called `the most accomplished jazz vocalist of her generation' in Time magazine, performs at Columbus' Capitol Theatre at 8 p.m. May 8. Singer/guitarist Madeleine Peyroux opens. Tickets are $28.50 at Ticketmaster outlets and box offices at the Ohio Theatre, Palace Theatre and Riffe Center, all in Columbus.
