Q101's Twisted 3, starring the Violent Femmes, Korn, Weezer, Stabbing Westward, Gravity Kills, Sheryl Crow, Wallflowers, Fiona Apple and the Bloodhound Gang

2:30 p.m. Sunday

Rosemont Horizon, 6920 N. Mannheim, Rosemont

Sold out There's a lot to be said for multi-bill shows. Unfortunately not all of them are good.

Sure, $22.50 is a steal to catch nine bands at Q101's sold-out Twisted 3 show on Sunday at the Rosemont Horizon.

But whether these are groups you actually want to sit through is another story.

Here's what you'll get: hometown heroes (the industrial rock band Stabbing Westward), a couple of femmes fatales (Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple), the quirky/annoying alternative band (Weezer), a pair of solid guitar-based rockers (Wallflowers, Violent Femmes), some really loud bands (Korn, Gravity Kills) and an act listeners probably never heard on Q101 (Bloodhound Gang).

Not all of you want to sit through the entire show to catch your favorite artists, so here's the lineup courtesy of Q101: Bloodhound Gang followed by Apple, the Wallflowers, Crow, Gravity Kills, Stabbing Westward, Weezer, the Violent Femmes and Korn.

That will at least help you plot out when to hit the washroom and the snacks stand.

Now here are a few thoughts on the pros and cons of Twisted 3:

Pro: You'll get to hear nine bands under one venue.

Con: One of them will be the narcissistic Gravity Kills.

Pro: This will be the first chance for Chicagoans to hear Sheryl Crow sing "If It Makes You Happy" live.

Con: Korn.

Pro: The Violent Femmes haven't played here in a while, and their shows are raucous, bawdy and fun.

Con: You'll hear cries of "Hello, Chicago!" from nine different acts numerous times throughout the event.

Pro: If you're a teenager, there'll be plenty more like you there.

Con: If you're over 22, you'll feel really old.

Pro: You'll spend most of Sunday away from your family and won't have to eat leftover turkey for a few hours.
